Community Involvement

Community is a major part of why we do what we do. It is with this passion for our community that we have committed to being involved when and where we feel we are most needed.

  • Chamber of Commerse

Steve and Sarah love the Chamber of Commerce and the community of professionals, business owners, and organizations it creates. They are members of both Cody, Wyoming and Powell, Wyoming Chambers.

  • Ambassedors

Sarah loves being a part of this amazing group of chamber members that volunteer to welcome new businesses into the community. The group also represent the chamber throughout the community. Beginning 2022 Sarah moved into the role of President and Chair of the Cody Ambassador committee.

  • Park County Animal Shelter

Sarah joined the Board of Directors for the Park County Animal Shelter in Febraury 2022. The PCAS serves Park County, and the surrounding area, and is located in the City of Cody area, by offering a central location to provide for the care of unwanted, mistreated, or stray animals that may be returned to their owners, cared for onsite, in foster homes, or adopted out to new owners. The PCAS is one of only three no kill shelters in the entire state. Sarah is Board President and Chair of the Events Committees and Chair of the Fundraising Committee.

  • IMPACT307

Sarah currently volunteers her time and gives resources to IMPACT307 as an educator. Sarah’s professional curriculum is adapted specifically for the training sessions to provide high quality training and tools for those in attendance. IMPACT307 was formally known as WTBC, which was founded in 2005 when a group of forward-looking leaders at the University of Wyoming and across the state committed to create a resource to facilitate companies starting up and growing here in Wyoming.

  • Live WYld Magazine

What started as a passion for exploring Wyoming, Steve and Sarah founded a state wide magazine focused on the outdoors, exploring, adventure, and supporting small local businesses. They offer all of their subscriptions for free and all proceeds go right back into the community. The mission of Live WYld is to unify and connect rural communities.

  • Park County Outdoor Recreation Collaborative

Sarah was thrilled to join this collaborative which is part of Wyoming Outdoor Recreation. Park County experiences high rates of visitation and is home to many who love to recreate outdoors, making it an ideal location for expanding and enhancing recreation opportunities.

Sarah joined P.E.A.K.S. to Conga committee in 2023. Her role is assisting with auction items. • Cody Events Commitee

Each year our event’s committee volunteers by giving their time to host several free city wide events. In past years Sarah and Steve provided design and marketing support free of charge to promote community outreach events.
